Recent service packs released by Microsoft are having a detrimental effect on existing software installed on many systems. If you find you cannot start Internet Explorer, try uninstalling any Browser Helper Objects (BHO’s), such as Yahoo Toolbar or eBay Toolbar helper.
A number of my clients were caught by surprise when Windows 2000 support was discontinued last year. Following up from our last issue, legislation has passed changing the Daylight Saving Time, starting in 2007. It will begin three weeks earlier on the second Sunday in March and end on the first Sunday in November. Currently Daylight Saving Time starts on the first Sunday in April and ends on the last Sunday in October. So far no patches have been scheduled from Microsoft to adjust for this change.
