This doesn’t happen very often, so it’s a pleasant shock when a levy is reduced. As of August 1, 2009, British Columbia will be changing the charges for it’s Environmental Handling Fee (EHF)

As with all levies imposed by the government, triple taxation has been implemented. The provincial and federal will be imposed on top of this levy; adding another 12% (PST/GST).
